LeadX collects UCC filings from every state on that state’s own schedule and parses the collateral behind them. These reports are what that data says about how secured lending actually works — by state, by lender, and by asset class. Every figure is a count from the filing record, not a survey or an estimate.
Every UCC filing secured by an excavator in Florida since 2021 — 16,392 of them — by manufacturer, lender and county. Four captive lenders hold 73%, Caterpillar cedes more paper than the other three majors combined, and 2026 is pacing 11% below 2025.
Nothing in these reports comes from a special extract. Each one is assembled from the same UCC filing records available through the LeadX platform and API — the same debtor, secured party, collateral and equipment fields any customer can search. Where a report leans on coverage that varies by state, it says so. Where the data has a known limit, the method note names it.
